Patrick Robinson

Pros

Cons

Overall

Patrick Robinson has all the physical tools necessary to be an elite corner at the next level, but he also has a number of factors that could make him a risky pick. Overall Robinson is a tremendous athlete, great speed, strong, and has great leaping ability. On the downside he is a project at cornerback, he doesn't seem to be prepared enough on game day, often times getting burned by double moves, and getting his eyes caught in the backfield. None of his issues are knocks on his talent, when it comes to talent, there is really nothing that stands out as a weakness. Robinson is a player that is going to need some work before he makes an impact in the N.F.L. If a coaching staff does not give this guy some special attention, he may never make it off of special teams. If a coaching staff is willing to commit some time to this kid, he could be a perennial pro-bowler. He should be the third or fourth corner off the board, in the late first to early second round range.
