|Draft Stock:||2nd Round; Tier 2 WR|
It's too bad nobody pays attention to Colorado football because football fans really missed out on watching one of the nation's truly elite athletes.
Richardson’s elite speed makes him a matchup nightmare; opposing defenses are not able to defend him without a safety over the top and corners aren’t able to get a hand on him in press. What makes Richardson's athleticism come to life are his ball skills which are off the charts.
While Richardson is as talented as any receiver in this draft not named Sammy Watkins, a torn ACL in 2012 and a very slender frame lead to plenty of concern. He needs to gain at least ten pounds before becoming he'll be able to handle the next level. Because of this, Richardson is very timid going across the middle and often drops passes once he hears the ‘footsteps’.
Overall, it's impossible not to be drawn by this kid's athleticism and the creativity he brings to the game. Coaches and general managers will be drooling over this kid’s potential throughout the draft process and figure to select this speedster out of Colorado some time early on day two of the NFL Draft.
