2013 Mock NFL Draft: Round Two

#33) TRADE! Green Bay Packers- Zach Ertz (TE Stanford)
Green Bay would get this pick from the Jaguars if our projected trade for Geno Smith at 26 were to happen. Jermichael Finley just hasn't worked out in Green Bay. This will very likely be his last year with the team, so adding a young talent at tight end could really benefit the Packers this year and farther on down the road.
#34) TRADE! Minnesota Vikings- Desmond Trufant (CB Washington)
Look for the Vikings to trade out of the first round with one of their two first round picks and target one of this year's deep crop of cornerbacks. Josh Robinson and Chris Cook are talented but not fully proven yet, getting another young corner who excels in man coverage will only make them better.
#35) Philadelphia Eagles- Menelik Watson (OT Florida State)
If the Eagles decide to pass on Eric Fisher with the 4th overall pick, they will still be able to get good value on a tackle like Menelik Watson here. We're not as high on Watson as some are, but his upside is unlimited and his draft stock is soaring.
#36) Detroit Lions- Bjoern Werner (DE Florida State)
It wasn't long ago that Bjoern Werner was a projected top 15 pick. In all honesty I could not tell you why his stock has fallen. Werner is a proven commodity and a complete defensive end who can be an edge rusher but also help in run support.
#37) Cincinnati Bengals- Eddie Lacy (RB Alabama)
Benjarvis Green-Ellis is a nice player, but he would be best served in a time share. Cincinnati seems to be very high on Eddie Lacy who is a similar type of back but would is a little more explosive than the "Law-Firm"
#38) Arizona Cardinals- Matt Barkley (QB USC)
Arizona has been connected to Matt Barkley throughout this draft process. Carson Palmer is there now, but he isn't a long term solution. Who better to mentor the young quarterback than the former USC alumnus?
#39) New York Jets- Johnathan Franklin (RB UCLA)
The Jets haven't been satisfied with their running game the past two years and as a result let Shonn Greene walk. They will be looking to add a young energetic runner to pair with Bilal Powell on day two in hopes of adding some juice to their ground game.
#40) Tennessee Titans- Justin Hunter (WR Tennessee)
Kenny Britt just hasn't worked out in Tennessee, and even though they drafted Kendall Wright in the 1st last year he isn't a No. 1 type receiver. At 6-4 with explosive athleticism, Hunter has all the ability to be an elite receiver at the next level.
#41) TRADE! Indianapolis Colts- Jesse Williams (DT/DE Alabama)
A lot of people have the Colts targeting a cornerback with their first pick but the defensive line is their biggest area of concern. If the Colts can successfully trade out of the first round, they can add a 2nd round pick (which they currently don't have) and a 3rd rounder to possibly address both positions.
#42) Miami Dolphins- Darius Slay (CB Mississippi State)
After trading Vontae Davis last year, and seeing Sean Smith walk in free agency this year, cornerback is a huge need for the Dolphins this year. Darius Slay is the most underrated player in this draft class, and our 2nd ranked cornerback. He will be a huge steal in the 2nd round!
#43) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Johnathan Hankins (DT Ohio State)
Gerald McCoy finally took the next step last year for the Bucs despite not having a tackle next to him offenses were forced to concern themselves with. McCoy needs a running mate, and none better than big Johnathan Hankins who is a steal, and a perfect fit as the 4-3 2 technique next to McCoy.
#44) Carolina Panthers- Matt Elam (Safety Florida)
Carolina has a terrible secondary, needing some serious help at both cornerback and safety. Whoever's the best available player in the secondary is who they need to take, and at this point it's Matt Elam. Elam is our No. 1 ranked safety this year, and could quickly become a leader and building block for a young Panthers team.
#45) TRADE! Cleveland Browns- E.J Manuel (QB Florida State)
I will never understand the fascination with E.J Manuel, he is by far the most overrated player in this years draft. However, there are some in the NFL who seem to feel differently. The Browns would love to trade back in the 1st round and gain this second rounder here.
#46) St Louis Rams- Arthur Brown (OLB Kansas State)
St Louis is in desperate need of a strong side linebacker to play next to James Laurinaitis. Arthur Brown played inside at KSU, but is much better suited to play outside in a 4-3 defense.
#48) Dallas Cowboys- DJ Swearinger (Safety South Carolina)
They've addressed the cornerback position, but Safety has been a big area of concern for Dallas for some time now. DJ Swearinger is an NFL ready player who flies around the field and loves to hit.
#47) Pittsburgh Steelers- Jamie Collins (OLB Southern Miss)
With James Harrison gone, the Steelers once fearsome pass rush is left with Lamarr Woodley as the only real threat. One of the more under appreciated players in this year's draft is Jamie Collins. Not only did Collins blow up the combine, but he quietly tallied 40 TFLs and 17 sacks the past two years.
#49) New York Giants- Christine Michael (RB Texas A&M)
The Giants picked up David Wilson in the draft last year, but he's not the type of back who's going to receive 30 touches a game. They need a change of pace, and the more physical yet still athletic Christine Michael could give them that added dimension.
#50) Chicago Bears- Jamar Taylor (CB Boise State)
Peanut Tillman and Tim Jennings were tremendous last year, but behind them there isn't much depth. Cornerback is arguably the deepest position in this year's draft, so the Bears can get excellent value on a top talent like Jamar Taylor late in the 2nd round.
#51) Washington Redskins- David Amerson (CB/S NC State)
Washington has needs at both cornerback and safety, which is great because David Amerson could play either. A true ball hawk, Amerson has the instincts and ball skills to be an interception machine at safety, but also the speed and athleticism to cover outside the numbers.
#52) Minnesota Vikings- Keenan Allen (WR Cal)
It wasn't long ago that we were mocking Keenan Allen to the Vikings in the first round. After some poor medicals and an under whelming workout however Allen's stock has slipped a little bit. The Vikings would be happy to scoop him up though as a perfect compliment to Greg Jennings.
#53) Cincinnati Bengals- Eric Reid (Safety LSU)
Reggie Nelson has been a nice surprise for the Bengals, but next to him, it has been a real struggle. Even is Reid plays at the same level from his junior season, the Bengals will still be getting a good player, but if he can play like he did as a sophomore, this could be a monster steal.
#54) Miami Dolphins- Barrett Jones (OL Alabama)
Miami's entire draft strategy will revolve on Jonathan Martin and the left tackle position. If they think he can play the left side, they'll wait until later and pick up a right tackle like Barrett Jones here. However, if they don't, a trade up for Lane Johnson could be in the works.
#55) Green Bay Packers- Le'Veon Bell (RB Michigan State)
Le'Veon Bell is one of the most underrated players in this year's draft. He is our clear-cut No. 1 running back prospect in the class. With imposing size at 6-2 245 Bell has lightning quick feet and agility. He will be the lead back the Packers haven't had since Ahman Green.
#56) Seattle Seahawks- Sio Moore (OLB Connecticut)
Sio Moore is a perfect fit at weak side linebacker in the Seahawks defensive scheme. He is extremely athletic with the ability to cover anybody, and plays well downhill too.
#57) Houston Texans- Damontre Moore (DE/OLB Texas A&M)
Before the NFL Combine Damontre Moore was a projected top 5 pick. It's been a steady decline for his draft stock since then, but if "Damonster" can get things figured out, the Texans might just strike gold with this local product.
#58) Denver Broncos- Alex Okafor (DE Texas)
This would be one of the best value picks of the entire draft if it were to happen. Why has Alex Okafor's stock fallen? I have no idea. He is one of the best pass rushers in this draft, and is much more complete than the boom or bust guys like Ansah or Jordan. Okafor is a power rusher, but is a much more explosive athlete than people think.
#59) Atlanta Falcons- Blidi Wreh-Wilson (CB Connecticut)
It seems hard to believe that a talent such as Blidi Wreh-Wilson will fall to the late 2nd round, but it just shows how incredibly deep this year's class of cornerbacks is. Whether it's B.W.W or a different corner, the Falcons have a desperate need and will be able to pick up a really good one with this pick.
#60) New England Patriots- Kawann Short (DT Purdue)
This is one of those picks where a prospect inexplicably falls in the draft and a team like the Steelers, Ravens or Patriots pick them up and they turn into a star. Kawann Short is such an underrated player this year, and can help give the Pats the explosive interior lineman they lack.
#61) San Francisco 49ers- Johnthan Banks (CB Mississippi State)
I really don't think the 49ers cornerback situation is as bad as people think, but with as many picks as they have this year they don't even have to think about need. Banks is one of our favorite cornerbacks in this draft, a long physical corner who's instincts and ball skills are off the chart.
#62) Baltimore Ravens- Justin Pugh (OL Syracuse)
Baltimore has some decisions to make on their offensive line. Do they re-sign Bryant McKinnie? Where does Michael Oher play? Justin Pugh gives them a lot of flexibility as he possesses the ability to play either tackle or guard spot.
