2013 Mock NFL Draft: Round Two

#33) Kansas City Chiefs- Matt Barkley (QB USC)
If the Chiefs wisely decide to pass on Geno Smith at No. 1, they will have a lot of choices here at the top of round two. We know Barkley at least will bring some stability to their quarterback situation, and could be an excellent fit with Andy Reid's West Coast Offense.
#34) Jacksonville Jaguars- Tyler Wilson (QB Arkansas)
Jacksonville cannot afford to suffer through another year of Gabbert/Henne. Tyler Wilson is a very underrated quarterback prospect, who has the tools to be a franchise quarterback. He has a tremendous arm, good size, is a good decision maker, and is tough as nails.
#35) Cincinnati Bengals (From Oakland)- Eddie Lacy (RB Alabama)
Benjarvis Green-Ellis is a nice player, but he's not a guy who should be getting virtually all the carries in a backfield. He's going to wear down, and god forbid he gets hurt, the Bengals have no depth to speak of. Lacy is a complete back, who has a similar running style as BGE but is more athletic.
#36) Philadelphia Eagles- Eric Reid (Safety LSU)
Philadelphia without question has the worst group of safeties in the NFL, and it has really killed them the past two years. Eric Reid has all the ability to be a pro-bowl safety in the league, and if he return to his sophomore form, the Eagles will have gotten themselves a big time player.
#37) Detroit Lions- Desmond Trufant (CB Washington)
After an outstanding Senior Bowl performance, Desmond Trufant is rocketing up draft boards, and there seems to be no way he falls past the CB needy Lions early in the 2nd round.
#38) Arizona Cardinals- DJ Fluker (OT Alabama)
Arizona's offensive line has been arguably the worst in the league for a very long time now. If they can grab Chance Warmack in round one, then his Alabama teammate DJ Fluker in the 2nd, their offensive line would see a significant upgrade.
#39) New York Jets- Mike Glennon (QB NC State)
As bad as it's been, Mark Sanchez is almost certainly going to remain a Jet. However that doesn't mean he automatically returns as the starter. The Jets need to add a young guy like Glennon here who can compete with Sanchez, and possibly overtake him for the job.
#40) Tennessee Titans- Barrett Jones (OL Alabama)
Tennessee passed on interior line help last year, and if they don't get Chance Warmack, they won't be taking somebody in round one. Barrett Jones is a huge steal at this point, as we feel he is one of the most underrated players in the draft. Left tackle, guard, center, he just dominates!
#41) Buffalo Bills- Tyler Eifert (TE Notre Dame)

Whether it's Ryan Fitzpatrick, or a new young QB, the Bills need weapons to aid their passing attack. While Scott Chandler is a functional player, he is nothing compared to Tyler Eifert. Eifert is a big time athlete who can make plays in the passing game, diverting attention away from Stevie Johnson.

#42) Miami Dolphins- Keenan Allen (WR California)
We are not Ryan Tannehill supporters in the least, but any QB would struggle with the "Weapons", Miami has surrounded him with. Keenan Allen is a possession receiver with the speed to stretch the field, offering a great value at this point.
#43) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Cornellius Carradine (DE Florida State)
Before his ACL tear, Carradine was looking at going in the 1st round. His stock shouldn't fall too far, and the Bucs will be happy to pick up another talented pass rusher to play with some of the young guys they have in Tampa.
#44) Carolina Panthers- Xavier Rhodes (CB Florida State)
Carolina has a terrible secondary, needing some serious help at cornerback and safety. Xavier Rhodes works out perfect for the Panthers, as a 1st round talent who falls into their laps. Excellent value pick, while also filling a huge need.
#45) San Diego Chargers- Deandre Hopkins (WR Clemson)
Danario Alexander came on strong for the Chargers, but obviously he can't be relied on to be their only receiving threat. San Diego would be more than happy to steal one of the best receivers in the draft.
#46) St Louis Rams- Jesse Williams (DT Alabama)
Michael Brockers needs a running mate, and we know Jeff Fisher loves to draft defensive lineman early. Jesse Williams and Brockers would give the Rams one of the strongest interior defensive lines in all of football, which would make them extremely tough to run against.
#48) Dallas Cowboys- Dallas Thomas (OL Tennessee)
We have the Cowboys passing on interior line help in round one for Johnathan Hankins. However the issue must be addressed some point in the first three rounds. Dallas has struggled mightily to pave running lanes, so even when he is healthy, it's been a struggle for Demarco Murray.
#47) Pittsburgh Steelers- Robert Alford (CB Southeast Louisiana)
Ike Taylor and Keenan Allen held up alright this year, but neither is going to be confused for Darrelle Revis. Even as it is, they seriously lack depth at the position. Robert Alford is a small school guy who was fantastic at the Senior Bowl, and this seems to be about the basement for his draft stock
#49) New York Giants- Khaseem Greene (LB Rutgers)
One of these years the Giants are actually going to take a linebacker early in the draft, and the value could finally match up this year. Greene is a physical, athletic linebacker that could play any of the three linebacker spots for the Giants
#50) Chicago Bears- Zach Ertz (TE Stanford)
Is there a worse starting tight end in the league than Kellen Davis? The 2013 NFL Draft is loaded at tight end, and the Bears get themselves and excellent value here in Ertz.
#51) Washington Redskins- Datone Jones (3-4 DE)
What the Redskins did on offense last year really masked some serious issues on defense. Their entire defense needs upgrades, especially on the defensive line. Datone Jones is the ideal fit as a 3-4 5 Tech. Possessing the ideal blend of power and athleticism.
#52) Minnesota Vikings- Sylvester Williams (DT North Carolina)
Minnesota needs to add a young talent to play next to Kevin Williams, and eventually replace him. In a very deep draft for defensive tackles, Williams presents great value for the Vikings late in round two.
#53) Cincinnati Bengals- Tony Jefferson (Safety Oklahoma)
Reggie Nelson has been a nice surprise for the Bengals, but next to him, it has been a real struggle. By selecting Jefferson, they pick up an "In-the-box" safety, who compliments Nelson's "Centerfield" playing style nicely.
#54) Miami Dolphins (From Indianapolis)- Le'Veon Bell (RB Michigan State)
Reggie Bush seems unlikely to return for the Dolphins next year, so they will need to add a lead back. Le'Veon Bell is a rare running back prospect who can handle a full workload, having the ability to run between the tackles. Bell also shows exceptional agility, and has underrated speed.
#55) Green Bay Packers- Joseph Fauria (TE UCLA)
Jermichael Finley may not be in Green Bay next year, and they need to bring in a tight end who can catch the ball either way. As mentioned, this year's draft has a girth of outstanding tight end prospects, so teams will be able to get great value at the position later on in the draft.
#56) Seattle Seahawks- Tavon Austin (WR West Virginia)
What real weaknesses does this team have? It's hard to pick holes in this team's roster, so they can really just target the BPA. Tavon Austin at 56? Can't beat that!
#57) Houston Texans- Justin Pugh (OL Syracuse)
Duane Brown is outstanding at left tackle, but opposite him, Derek Newton is nothing to write home about. Justin Pugh could start at right tackle, or at guard if the Texans want to upgrade over Ben Jones.
#58) Denver Broncos- Blidi Wreh-Wilson (CB Connecticut)
Champ Bailey is closer to the end than the beginning, while Tracy Porter had an injury plagued season last year. Blidi Wreh is flying up draft boards as teams are seeking cornerbacks with his size (6'2"), hoping to find the next Brandon Browner or Richard Sherman.
#59) Atlanta Falcons- Stepfan Taylor (RB Stanford)
He's performed admirably, but Michael Turner has run out of juice in Atlanta, and it's time to find a replacement. Stepfan Taylor has the ability to step right in and be the lead back for the Falcons, proving to be well rounded in all aspects of the game.
#60) New England Patriots- Robert Woods (WR USC)
Brandon Lloyd didn't reap the type of results the Patriots were hoping for, and they need to add another weapon aside from Wes Welker. Woods got overshadowed by Marqise Lee this year at USC, but is one of the best route runners you will ever find, and would work great with Tom Brady.
#61) San Francisco 49ers- Cornelius Washington (OLB Georgia)
San Francisco's starting four linebackers all played 1,000 snaps. Their next highest guy, Clark Haggans, played 45. Their starters are fantastic, but they have a severe lack of depth.
#62) Baltimore Ravens- Markus Wheaton (WR Oregon State)
Anquan Boldin may not return for the Ravens next year, and even if he does they need more weapons. Many compare Markus Wheaton to Mike Wallace, with similar size and blazing speed. Even if he isn't Mike Wallace, Wheaton can really play, and is a great value with the last pick of the 2nd.

Picks 1-16

Picks 17-32
